The goal of Arts Learning at the Cultural Council is to promote arts learning opportunities and create and motivate public will for Arts Learning.

Our principal arts learning programs are:

• Art Learning Resource Directory - An interactive tool to find teaching artists for in-school or community-based performances and workshops.

• Fast Track Matching Grants  for 2010-11 school year now available. Click here for guidelines and application form.
  

• SPECTRA Artists, listed in the Arts Learning Resource Directory, are experienced professional artists and teachers who meet the Cultural Council's rigorous best practices standards and are knowledgeable about California Standards for Visual and Performing Arts.

• SPECTRA Video hosted by the Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation

• ADVOCACY - Tools, links and references to help promote arts education

• SPECIAL INITIATIVES - The Cultural Council seeks grants and acts as a conduit between donors and private foundations to increase opportunities for arts education in schools through the community.
