Looking for a particular artist in Santa Cruz County?

The Cultural Council often gets requests for artist contact information. Out of respect for individual privacy, the Cultural Council will only provide contact information for an artist if he/she is listed in the most recent calendar/catalog.

If the artist is not listed in the OS Calendar/Catalog, you might try searching for him/her by using Google:

Just enter what you know of the person's name inside of quotation marks (for example, "Jane Doe") or if you don't know the name, you can enter keywords. For example, typing in weathervanes copper santa cruz, ca will display websites featuring copper weathervanes found in Santa Cruz, CA.

Artists always want to get in touch with potential buyers, so why not just give out the information?

We may not know the artist, and we don't have the staff or resources to maintain a searchable database of the hundreds of talented artists in Santa Cruz County, so we have few resources to call upon for searching. Also, though an artist may initially give us permission to give out their telephone or address one year, that permission doesn't extend indefinitely.

We know it can be frustrating to want to contact an artist and not know how and we will help if we can, but please understand that there are limits to what we can do.
