A Multifaceted Partnership – CCSCC and Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente has once again come through for Catholic Charities with funding for critical services, helping us to navigate a challenging landscape for grant funding. Their newest grants for Medi-Cal Enrollment and our Rotary Mobile Medical Clinic will help to ensure access to health care for those who may not have insurance through their employers and those who cannot qualify for other forms of coverage – recognizing that when our neighbors are healthy, it strengthens our community as a whole.

Kaiser Permanente has supported Catholic Charities across a variety of programs over the years, including Behavioral Health Services, Older Adult Services at John XXIII Multi-Service Center, our Pathfinder Employment program, and sponsorships for community events such as our Out of Poverty Summit and our recent Community Health Fair in Gilroy. CCSCC has also been a grateful beneficiary of Kaiser Permanente’s Community Giving Campaign for employer matching gifts over many years, as they honor their employees’ generosity and support of CCSCC.

“At Kaiser Permanente, we believe that health is a shared journey—and that no one should have to walk it alone,” shares Karla Lomax, Senior Public Affairs Director. “Our partnership with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County reflects our deep commitment to supporting organizations that are the heart of our community. Together, we’re working to ensure that every person, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the care and compassion they deserve.”

Kaiser Permanente continues to partner with CCSCC in multiple ways to ensure that all of our community members can be healthy and thriving. You can learn more about Kaiser’s goals for community health at: healthy.kaiserpermanente.org.
